This offering envelope has a light yellow background with the words DOUBTING THOMAS across the top left. In the lower right of this childrens offering envelope, there is a picture of Thomas with his head bowed and the hands of the Lord held out. There is a story in the center of this kids offering envelope that reads:
Whenever Thomas is mentioned, the word "doubt" always comes to mind. Thomas was a faithful disciple of Jesus. Though he spent three years with Him, he never really understood His mission. So, when the other disciples excitedly told Thomas that Jesus was risen from dead, Thomas was doubtful. In fact, he said he would never believe that Jesus was alive unless he could see Jesus' scars for himself. Jesus gladly showed Thomas His hands and side, but He saved the best blessing for us. John 20:29 says, "Blessed are those who believe without seeing."* *HNTC (John 20:24-29)
