Jesus first recorded miracle took place at a wedding banquet in Cana at which He was a guest. It was the custom to offer the very best wine at the start of the meal and save the cheap wine for later. When Jesus' mother, Mary, saw that all the wine was gone, she told Jesus. He asked the servants to fill six jars with water and take them to the master of the banquet. When they obeyed Jesus, the master discovered choice wine. This first miracle showed Jesus' glory and caused His disciples to put their faith in Him. (John 2:1-11)
