#2020 Bible Stories - The Ten Lepers Long DescriptionThis is the Ten Lepers stories offering envelope from the childrens bible stories boxed set item number 2000. This offering envelope has a light blue background with the words THE TEN LEPERS across the top left. In the lower right of this childrens offering envelope, there is a picture of Jesus helping, healing and comforting a leper. There is a story in the center of this kids offering envelope that reads:
Leprosy was such a contagious skin disease that everybody went out of their way to avoid a leper. Everybody, that is, but Jesus. As He traveled into a village one day, He met 10 lepers. They cried out for mercy. Of course, Jesus loves to help us. He simply spoke a command to the lepers and when they obeyed, they were healed. Wouldn't you think that they would have fallen to their knees in thanks? No! Only one of the men-a Samaritan-returned to thank Jesus. Not only is it important to ask Jesus for help, it is also important to thank Him! (Luke 17:11-19)
