This is the Matthew, The Tax Collector bible stories offering envelope from the childrens bible stories boxed set item number 2000. This offering envelope has a blue background with the words MATTHEW, THE TAX COLLECTOR across the top left. In the lower right of this childrens offering envelope, there is a picture of Jesus in purple and blue robes having dinner with Matthew the tax collector and some friends. There is a goblet or wine glass and food on the table and they are standing in front of a building. There is a story in the center of this kids offering envelope that reads:Jesus loves each person--even someone who others consider unlovable. Matthew was one of those unlovable people. In fact, townspeople went so far as to call the hated tax collector a sinner. After all, he was known for his greed. Nothing bothered his conscience. So it was no wonder that the Pharisees were so bothered by the fact that Jesus ate dinner with Matthew! And what's more, he invited Matthew to become a disciple!
